Bellows are pipe fittings that absorb expansion, contraction, and mechanical vibrations in piping systems.
If such expansions, contractions, and vibrations are not managed, they may cause damage to other connection points and connected equipment.
Expansion joints are the most suitable and cost-effective solution to prevent such issues. In standard production expansion joints, AISI 304, AISI 316, and AISI 321 quality stainless steels are commonly used as the corrugated material. For high-temperature applications, special materials like AISI 309 and Incoloy 800 are used.
